Monte Schaffer moved literally to the deep woods of northern Minnesota, built his own log home laboratory, connected to the gear, in the country-side environment and now debuts on Arctic Dub (Sursumcorda), on what is our first invited artist release.

"Snow Ghosts" is a 2 tracks EP that brings together two electronic and very organic aural perspectives of space.

"Snow Ghosts" is a spiral ascending track towards the starry sky, with timeless pads and dubby chords, on an elegant and escalating rhythm, sure to put one´s mind in cosmic laidback and awe. The bass is vivid and appears on the right times conveying the primal essential, accessing Monte's long experience as a bassist.

"The Great Moment" is more intimate, going deep into the forest imagery and appreciation, with a peaceful tempo driving us with a thoughtful melody. Sampling cleverly used and again the dubby bass surgically applied, adding to this very emotional track.

Proper for Ambient rooms and stargazing.
